[10-17-06] I began by grumbling about people that like to argue without having the facts at their disposal. I discussed radiating spheres of knowledge. I complained about those that put out really bad information about cigarette smoking. I wondered out loud how many people would quit smoking if they knew what I knew. I talked about secular and non-secular bases of information. I mentioned evolution and a new book about Charles Darwin that is very enlightening. I discussed the Latin roots of scientific terms, specifically the earth sciences.

I talked again about the political and economic factors surrounding smoking. I complained about the role of a popular US Surgeon General in a misdiagnoses of smoking behavior that many believe is fact. Toward the end, I reviewed the five previous podcast shows in preparation for submission to the archive program.
