New hospital gets $500,000 donation

Bonnie and Tony Addario pledged a half-million dollars to build and equip the new Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, helping the campaign reach its $20 million goal.
The Addarios made the gift in support of Sequoia’s Imaging Center in honor of oncologist Dr. Fred Marcus, one of the hospital’s staff which helped care for Bonnie J. Addario during her bout with lung cancer in 2004.
